I finally watched the movie :) so I finally read your review! I like your review of the movie. I think I would like this story much more if I read the book. I like the idea of the movie, but didn't think it captured it in the way that it could have. Sometimes movies like that seem to give me the feeling that I need lots and lots of hints to make sure I get what's happening. That made it really predictable. I'm still ashamed to admit I couldn't stand it when I first read it as a junior in high school.
